Archived Recordings Of Long Wave/Medium Wave DX Catches: 150 khz. to 1000 khz.

Highlighted in the below table are my archived medium wave DX catches from 150 khz. to 1000 khz.. Clicking on the
station call letters should allow access to the associated sound files (.mp3 format). Note that I have not included any
'blowtorches' in this list unless they are difficult for me to hear at my QTH.

You are welcome to download and store any of the provided files for your listening pleasure. (Listen with a good pair
of headphones!) Under no circumstances are these recordings to be used for any commercial purpose. Any other
non-commercial use of these files (say, posting them to a web site or passing them on to a friend) is allowed as long
as proper credit is provided.

The 'Distance to QTH' numbers were obtained using Barry McLarnon's excellent
The Canada/US AM Station Info Search Page. The required QTH latitude and longitude values were obtained at
NOAA's Geophysical Data Center (which will also provide your QTH's current magnetic declination offset). Station
power levels (which sometimes were difficult to ascertain for those stations having different day and night power) and
location were obtained using the National Radio Club's AM Radio Log (2 8 th Edition) as well as the Radio-Locator
web site. One can also use 100000watts.com as a resource, but note that this is a pay site.
